Daija germain you taught me in 8th grade English and I talk about you atleast 6 times a year. I’m working for the city doing camps for kids we partner with two black ladies that have doctorates and studied the brain along with ways to teach education they call themselves mind brain academy. All in all I had to say hi again as I persue to teach in a different way approach kids in a different way and hopefully help get the world spinning in the right direction. Hope is still there. Love you!!! I even remember describing pancakes in your class

AHHHHHH!!!!!! HI DAIJA – I am terrified to ask follow-up questions now…what are you saying 6 times a year? Am I calmer in your recollection than I am in real life??? I LOVE brain work – I’m starting to move more into behavior stuff and trauma-informed education (but the helpful kind, not the “are we an outpatient care center or nah…” kind). Side note: I’m crazier now. Also I knew exactly who you were, and I am very proud of my brain for that. I do not, however, remember the pancake description. 😅😅😅 I’m glad to hear that you are taking over the world. KEEP IT UP!!!!! 🫣(this is me, watching your quest for world domination with excitement. I am NOT a cool person…)
